Job Title-Design Engineer
Job Responsibility:-
As a SolidWorks Designer in electrical panel manufacturing, your main responsibility will be to use the SolidWorks software to design and develop detailed models and drawings of electrical panels that meet the specific requirements of clients and industry standards.
  • Your job description may include the following duties:
  1. Designing and creating 3D models of electrical panels using SolidWorks software.
  2. Creating 2D drawings of electrical panels and their components.
  3. Collaborating with electrical engineers, project managers, and other designers to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the design.
  4. Ensuring that designs meet client specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements.
  5. Developing and maintaining a library of standard designs and components.
  6. Managing design changes throughout the design process.
  7. Conducting design reviews and making necessary changes to designs based on feedback.
  8. Working closely with manufacturing teams to ensure the efficient production of electrical panels.
  9. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of designs, including bills of materials and engineering change orders.
  10. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, new technology, and emerging design practices.
  11. To succeed in this role, you should have a strong knowledge of SolidWorks software and electrical panel design principles.
  12. You should also have excellent communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work well in a team environment.
  13. Additionally, you should be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
