- Candidate should lead, manage, Guide, Hand hold, train & develop the design & Engineering team & each stage in the overall process.
- Position requires thorough knowledge of steel structural design & engineering techniques used in the designing, manufacturing & assembly of Racking Systems.
- Provide application solutions to customers unique problem cases.
- Test products as per latest European, America & Australian racking codes & prepare load tables.
- Perform rolled & structural steel calculations as per IS,EN & international code.
- Implement methods & techniques for quick Layout Planning, Design optimization, Standardization & codification of parts.
- To prepare & approve, production and other drawings, BOM/BOQ etc. Responsible to plan and conduct independent work requiring judgement in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
- Knowledge of Different grades of Steel to use in Racking & Steel structures. Devise new approaches to problems, and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts & graphs, and monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices.
- Candidate will be fully responsible for all structural design, checking & releasing of drawings to production dept, installation team, etc.
- New Product development. Resolve any technical queries raised by clients. Cost estimation, etc.
- Direct and supervise other designers/drafters activities.
- Handle routine department administration.
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering design documents.
- Organize draft and coordinate technical documents. Capable and experienced in managing and performing projects in a fast paced environment.
