| Key Result Areas 1 Material Planning against Production plan 2 On time procurement of Material - Desired Quality & @ correct Cost 3 Good verbal & written communication Skill. 4 Monitoring of procurement on a day to day basis. 5 New Supplier Development 6 Supplier Evaluation 7 Vendor Visit along with the QC person as per the ISO norms Responsibilities 1 To accept material requisition from Production and place P.O. to Supplier (Local as well as Import) for all material, which may be Electrical / Electronic, Plastic, Rubber and Mechanical. 2 To purchase material against Capital Equipment requirement. 3 To coordinate for transporting arrangement of material. 4 To coordinate with Production/QC/Stores and Suppliers for processing of acceptance & rejection of material at Inward / in-process. To raise Rejection and Debit note accordingly. 5 To interact with Production & Stores for daily shortages. 6 To maintain Material at Stores as per Minimum Inventory List and Re-order List. 7 To coordinate for New Supplier Development /audit as and when applicable. To get approved suppliers on board through Vendor Registration process. 8 To evaluate existing Suppliers periodically as per purchasing procedure. 9 To authentication Supplier Invoices and coordinate with Accounts for releasing payments Capabilities and competencies 1 Good communicator 2 Good understanding of Purchasing and Stores procedure 3 Candidate shall be well versed with Vendor Registration, Sample approval procedure. Knowledge of ISO 9000 & quality systems is desirable. 4 Capable of conducting audit | ||||
