Job Responsibility:-
Job Profile Vedant is looking to recruit an R&D Team Leader for the development of specialty chemicals at Taloja, Panvel Unit. The R&D Team Leader is expected to lead a team of 2-3 chemists to develop targeted specialty chemicals molecules from lab scale through to successful validation on plant scale. Responsibilities ∙ Undertake experiments to develop new synthetic route ∙ Daily review of experiment results to guide R&D chemists ∙ Conduct literature survey ∙ Propose innovative solutions to improve product cost and quality ∙ Scale up and validate process on kilo-scale pilot plant ∙ Responsible for successful validation on pilot and plant scale ∙ Successful handover of process to Production department ∙ Provide timely solutions for troubleshooting of plant deviations ∙ Conduct regular training for development executives Candidate Profile ∙ Min 5+ years of experience ∙ Prior experience managing team of 2-3 R&D chemists ∙ M.Sc./PhD in Organic Chemistry with Distinction or First-Class Passing Grade Relevant Chemistry Experience ∙ Catalytic Hydrogenation ∙ Hydrogenation ∙ High-Vacuum Distillation ∙ Nitro to Amino Reduction ∙ Bechamp Reduction ∙ 3,3-Diaminodiphenylsulfone (3,3-DADPS) ∙ 4,4-Diaminodiphenylsulfone (4,4-DDS) ∙ Diaminonaphthalene
