MAIN PURPOSE/FUNCTION OF JOB:
Responsible for making GA layout, P&ID, SLD and detailed drawings. Using computer aided software AutoCAD and solid works for equipment designing and detailing. Performing design calculations
Helping in achieving standardization objectives .updating as-built drawings. Guiding new joinees.
Note- Candidate should have good knowledge of Pharma Process Equipment Mfg. Company
MAIN ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare detailed layouts in Solid Works and Auto CAD based on inputs from Designers/ Analysts/ Project engineers.
- Prepare detail drawings of assemblies, machined parts and weldments
- Check interfaces and tolerances to ensure compliance with customer requirements
- Create and maintain a library of standard parts, product models and drawings
- Maintain an accurate record of the work performed in company timesheet regularly
- Responsible for making excel planning sheet after the completion of detailed drawings.
- Co-ordination with purchase and stores dept. for planning related challenges.
- Coordinating with projects department for job requirements and modifications as per customer requirements.
- Co-ordination with onsite teams for design related data.
- Co-ordination with vendors regarding technical clarifications if any.
- Execution.- Responsible for timely completion of jobs as per scheduling and forecasting. Working in cross functional roles
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Practical modeling and drafting experience in Engineering /Design / R & D / Product Development environment.
- Manufacturing experience with an emphasis on design for manufacturability is desirable.
- Should be highly proficient with AutoCAD and Solid Works (Part, Assembly, Weldment, Drawings modules)
- Should have knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
- Should have knowledge of manufacturing process including machining, welding and GD &T
