- Candidate should have sound Technical Knowledge, good command over drafting & preparations of drawings, layouts, installation drawings etc.
- Prepare documents as per tenders & RFQ’s.
- Answer customer queries through mails, letters, telecom etc.
- To assist the manager in daily activities & managing the sales Design team of 7-10 members
- To Plan & ensure delivery of costing of different types of racking Systems.
- To provide Cost Effective Solutions to various layouts & customer requirements.
- The Senior Estimation engineer is responsible for the overall racking systems project estimate while providing leadership, training, and mentoring for their team under the manager.
- The estimation essentially consist of
- going thru customer requirements, preparing deviation lists & making work around.
- checking the layouts for any deficiency wrt to cost effectiveness
- selection of different sections to be used in the rack layouts.
- prepare the detailed Bill of materials with qty, weight, sizes etc.
- prepare the specifications sheet
- prepare the technical specifications
- Evaluation of tenders, preparing proposals (domestic, Government, International, etc). Deviation list, Engineering design calculations, Technical specifications, BOM & BOQ, Maintain Data.
- Understand client requirements from sales or directly from client & suggest appropriate racking solutions.
- Should be able to handle & delegate work wherever & when ever required.
- Capable and experienced in managing and performing projects in a fast paced environment.
