Job Summary:
We are seeking a Tool Room Engineer with over 5 years of experience to support our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing tools and equipment used in the production of pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key

Responsibilities:
1.Knowledge about the pharma manufacturing and machinery (Stainless steel, MS, Aluminium sheet/plate, ring, circle, pat, rood etc.)
2.Design and develop tools, dies, and fixtures specific to pharmaceutical manufacturing. Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of tooling and equipment.
3.Collaborate with production teams to ensure tools meet operational requirements and safety standards.
4.Implement improvements to enhance tool performance and production efficiency.
5.Perform quality inspections and ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
6.Maintain detailed documentation of tool designs, modifications, and maintenance activities.
7.Oversee raw material receiving against purchase orders (PO) and purchase intimation.
8.Group raw materials and organize them for efficient handling and production use.
9.Manage storage of raw materials before quality control (QC) in designated QC areas.
10.Perform physical checks of bought-out and raw materials upon receipt.
11.Handle daily goods receipt notes (GRN) using software-based recording systems.
12.Control and manage the daily inward and outward registers for material flow.
13.Coordinate QC and production intimation processes for efficient workflow.
14.Ensure proper storage of approved bought-out and raw materials in designated store areas.
15.Issue materials based on Bill of Materials (BOM) and issue slips.
16.Prepare and manage purchase requisitions for BOM and general consumable products.
17.Update the BOM in bin cards for ongoing projects on a daily basis.
18.Oversee daily packaging and dispatches, including Delivery Orders (DO) and Delivery Challans (DC).
19.Maintain effective inventory control to ensure adequate stock levels.
20.Monitor and control dead stock and non-moving inventory to reduce wastage.
21.Ensure adherence to minimum stock levels for general consumables and hardware products.
22.Manage the inventory and maintenance of spare parts for capital equipment.
23.Implement effective waste management strategies.
24.Adhere to and manage store policies for optimal material handling and inventory control.

Qualifications:
1.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
2.5+ years of experience in tool design and manufacturing, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
3.Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and regulatory requirements.
4.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
