*Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented Mechanical Draftsman or Design Engineer with expertise in designing sheet metal or sheet metal furniture products. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, along with experience in the sheet metal products manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibility:
- Create detailed mechanical drawings, designs, and specifications for sheet metal furniture using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to develop and refine design concepts, ensuring they meet functional and aesthetic requirements.
- Prepare 2D and 3D CAD models, assembly drawings, and BOM (Bill of Materials) for manufacturing.
- Review and modify designs to ensure optimal manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
- Conduct feasibility studies and identify potential design improvements.
- Ensure that designs adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
- Assist in resolving any design-related issues during the manufacturing process.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, materials, and technologies in sheet metal furniture design.
