Senior Architect

Job Summary
The Senior Architect will lead the creative and technical design aspects of model-making projects. This role requires a strong command of 2D and 3D design tools, excellent visualization skills, and the ability to transform client requirements into highly accurate and detailed model concepts. The Senior Designer will also mentor  junior designers, ensure quality standards, and collaborate closely with production and project teams to ensure seamless execution.

Key Responsibilities
Design Development
1.Interpret project coordinator briefs and transform them into technical drawings and 3D designs for model making.
2.Create detailed 2D layouts, elevation drawings, and 3D visualizations required for model construction.
3.Develop innovative and creative design solutions that align with the client’s vision and the company’s standards.

Project Leadership
1.Take lead on design-related aspects of multiple projects, from initial concept to final execution.
2.Coordinate with project coordinators, production teams, and 3D printing technicians to ensure accurate translation of designs into physical models.
3.Participate in client meetings when necessary to understand requirements and present design concepts.

Quality Assurance
1.Ensure all design work meets high standards of detail, accuracy, and aesthetic value.
2.Review and approve drawings before handing them off to production.
3.Troubleshoot design-related issues during the model-making process and provide effective solutions.

Team Mentoring & Collaboration
1.Guide and mentor junior designers, providing feedback, training, and support to help them grow.
2.Foster a collaborative and creative working environment within the design team.
3.Share knowledge of best practices, materials, techniques, and new design tools.

Documentation & File Management
1.Maintain well-organized project files, including source files, revisions, and references.
2.Ensure that all design deliverables are properly documented and stored for future use.
