JOB SUMMARY:
We are hiring a Senior Quality Manager with strong experience in the sheet metal industry. The candidate should have solid knowledge of quality control, welding inspection, and ISO documentation. This is a hands-on role focused on maintaining product quality and ensuring process compliance. Single accommodation will be provided by the company. Travelling Details: The company is located approximately 16.8 kilometers from Palghar Station, and it takes around 40 minutes to reach the location from the station. The company is also willing to provide travel assistance or single accommodation if required.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drawing Reading:
1• Ability to interpret basic and advanced technical drawings and tolerances.
Incoming Inspection:
1• Conduct quality checks of incoming raw materials and components.
2• Ensure vendor-supplied materials meet quality standards.
In-Process Inspection:
1• Monitor in-process activities to ensure compliance with quality standards.
2• Identify non-conformities and initiate corrective actions.
Welding Process Awareness:
1• Conduct visual welding inspections.
2• Basic knowledge of welding symbols, processes, and weld quality standards.
Press Brake Process Knowledge:
1• Understanding of bending process, tooling, and angle verification during production.
Rejection Analysis & PPM Calculation:
1• Analyze rejection trends and take preventive actions.
2• Calculate PPM (Parts Per Million) and work towards continuous improvement in quality metrics.
ISO and Quality Documentation
1• Experience working under ISO 9001 or other relevant quality systems.
2• Manage and maintain QMS documentation, quality checklists, inspection reports, and audit records.
