Responsibilities:
1.Quality Planning and Control:
1.Develop and implement quality control plans for new and existing products and processes.
2.Establish inspection and testing criteria to ensure products meet customerspecifications and quality standards.
3.Create and implement quality control tools, such as checklists, inspection forms, and process flow diagrams, to maintain product consistency.
4.Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections to ensure products conform to defined quality standards.
2.Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions:
1.Conduct root cause analysis of product defects and quality issues, identifying potential improvements in processes, materials, and techniques.
2.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality concerns and prevent recurrence.
3.Track and report quality metrics, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
3.Process Improvement and Optimization:
1.Apply continuous improvement methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Lean, to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and optimize manufacturing processes.
2.Work with cross-functional teams to identify and eliminate inefficiencies and improve overall production quality.
3.Provide training and support to production teams on best practices, quality control techniques, and ISO standards.
4.Documentation and Reporting:
1.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality inspections, tests, and audit results.
2.Prepare quality reports for management, including analysis of product performance, defects, and trends.
3.Ensure that quality documentation and reports comply with ISO requirements, providing clear and transparent information on quality metrics.
5.Supplier Quality Management:
1.Collaborate with the procurement team to evaluate and select suppliers based on their ability to meet quality and ISO standards.
2.Perform supplier audits and assess their quality systems to ensure compliance with the company's quality standards and ISO certifications.
3.Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues, establish quality improvementplans, and ensure consistent product quality.
6.Training and Development:
1.Provide training to employees on quality assurance processes, quality standards, and ISO procedures.
2.Promote a quality-driven culture throughout the organization by engaging team members and driving awareness of quality standards.
7.Product Testing and Validation:
1.Conduct or supervise the testing of products at various stages of production to verify that they meet required specifications.
2.Perform validation and verification processes to ensure that products meet both customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
3.Collaborate with R&D and design teams to ensure new products are developed in compliance with quality and ISO standards.
Preferred Skills:
1.Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, CQE, or ASQ certifications).
2.Experience in specific industries, such as automotive, aerospace, electronics, etc.
3.Knowledge of continuous improvement tools such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
4.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment.
