Purchase Executive

Responsibility:

1) To purchase engineering / routine items as instructed.
2) Development & management of Database & Documentation related to purchase & costing.
3) To manage payment schedule of vendors / suppliers in coordination with accounts / project team.
4) Strong commercial negotiation & lead time negotiation skills required.
5) Strong follow up skills required with vendors / suppliers & internal team.
6) Approach should be target oriented to finish a project on time.
7) To manage purchase activity as per the lead time and urgency of the project team.
8) Vendor development / management skill.
9) To introduce new vendors / suppliers.
10) Should be able to read technical specifications of the products and able to make technical & commercial comparison.
11) Liaising with Projects, Accounts, Proposals, Site Team & with the Client.
12) A basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical & electronic items.
13) Proficient in verbal & written English.
14) Proficient in Marathi, Hindi & Gujarati language speaking would be an added advantage.
15) If required, a candidate should be prepared to travel to factory time to time.
