Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Engineer to manage procurement activities and ensure timely acquisition of materials, equipment, and services. The ideal candidate will have technical expertise, negotiation skills, and a strong understanding of supply chain processes to support operational efficiency and cost control.
Travelling Details:
THE COMPANY PROVIDES A PICK-UP & DROP FACILITY FROM VASAI WEST GURUDWARA. THE DISTANCE FROM VASAI STATION TO THE COMPANY IS APPROXIMATELY 13 KM (35 MINUTES).
Job Responsibilities:
1.Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery capabilities.
2.Source and procure materials, equipment, and services as per project and production requirements.
3.Review and interpret technical specifications and drawings to determine procurement needs.
4.Negotiate terms and pricing with vendors to ensure optimal cost savings and value.
5.Prepare and issue purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
6.Track and monitor inventory levels, delivery schedules, and vendor performance.
7.Coordinate with engineering, production, and accounts departments for procurement planning.
8.Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements during the procurement process.
9.Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and vendor agreements.
10.Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure continuity of supply.
