PRODUCTION PLANNING & CONTROL

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PPC Manager (Production Planning & Control) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in punch and die manufacturing or CNC shop operations. This role is crucial in optimizing production processes, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and driving continuous improvement to meet operational demands.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning:

A)Develop and manage production schedules to meet operational goals.

B)Align production plans with available resources, machinery, and manpower.

C)Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and minimize production bottlenecks.

2. Process Optimization:

A)Monitor production performance and identify areas for improvement.

B)Implement lean manufacturing practices to reduce downtime, waste, and production costs.

C)Drive continuous improvement initiatives for enhanced productivity and product quality.

3. Workflow Coordination:

A)Collaborate closely with production, quality control, and maintenance departments.

B)Ensure seamless workflow across various production stages.

C)Facilitate regular meetings to address production challenges and implement corrective actions.

4. Inventory & Resource Management:

A)Track and manage raw material, tooling, and equipment inventory.

B)Forecast production requirements to avoid shortages or overproduction.

C)Work with the procurement team to optimize supply chain efficiency.

5. Reporting & Documentation:

A)Generate regular reports on production performance, efficiency metrics, and improvement actions.

B)Maintain accurate records of production schedules, process changes, and outcomes.
