Packing Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a responsible and organized Packing Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the packing department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining stock levels, ensuring timely packing and dispatch, supervising workers, and performing basic quality checks to ensure product standards are met before shipping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining Stock:

  1. Monitor and maintain inventory of packing materials and finished goods.

  2. Coordinate with inventory/warehouse teams to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.

  3. Update records regularly and inform the concerned departments in case of shortages.

• Timely Planning & Packing of Dispatch:

  1. Plan and schedule packing activities based on dispatch timelines and priority orders.

  2. Coordinate with logistics and sales teams for timely delivery of products.

  3. Ensure accurate labeling, documentation, and packaging.

• Supervise Packing Department Workers:

  1. Lead and supervise a team of packing staff to meet daily targets.

  2. Allocate tasks, provide training, and ensure productivity and discipline.

  3. Monitor attendance, performance, and adherence to safety protocols.

• Basic Quality Check:

  1. Conduct visual and physical inspections of products before packing.

  2. Ensure that packaging meets company standards and customer specifications.

  3. Report any defects or issues to the Quality Control/Production team.
