Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer with a strong background in sheet metal component design and expertise in SolidWorks, specifically weldment tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing accurate 3D models, fabrication drawings, and BOMs for sheet metal products used in manufacturing and industrial applications.
Note The candidate will be required to visit the Pune or Virar factory location 1–2 times a month for design-related work. The travel expenses for these visits will be covered by the company.
Job Responsibility
1.Design and develop sheet metal components and assemblies using SolidWorks.
2.Utilize weldment features in SolidWorks to create accurate structural frames and assemblies.
3.Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings and BOMs with GD&T as per industry standards.
4.Collaborate with production, quality, and procurement teams for design feasibility and cost optimization.
5.Modify existing designs based on client feedback or manufacturing constraints.
6.Ensure that all designs comply with engineering principles and company standards.
