Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities: 
Mechanical Design Engineer performs a wide range of duties to ensure their products are of the highest quality. Some of their primary duties and responsibilities include:

1) Analyzing and testing existing products to identify areas for improvement
2) Collaborating with other Salesperson, Designers, and Project Managers
3) Writing detailed operational procedures
4) Creating Bill of Material and timelines for each project
5) Prepare engineering designs from conceptual design, through tender to construction
6) Work with team members in determining viable solutions for design issues.
7) Work to and meet project schedules and BOQ.
8) Prepare technical specifications, and engineering drawings
9) Creation of AutoCAD Layout which includes Plan, Elevation and 3D views as per customer’s requirement.
10) Coordinate with senior designing team and creation of Cad drawing.
11) Creation of CNC laser cutting drawing of sheet metal parts required for manufacturing.
12) Other responsibilities as needed.
