Job Summary:
A Cylindrical Grinding Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining cylindrical grinding machines to produce precision parts and components. The role requires adherence to strict tolerances and specifications, ensuring the highest quality in the final product. Operators must interpret blueprints, use measuring instruments, and comply with safety and production standards.
- Machine Setup:
- Prepare and set up cylindrical grinding machines based on work orders and blueprints.
- Select appropriate grinding wheels, speeds, and feeds.
- Mount and balance grinding wheels and tools.

Operation:
- Operate machines to grind external and internal cylindrical surfaces.
- Perform rough and finish grinding to meet specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary.
