Company Secretary

Job Summary:
We are looking to hire a Company Secretary (CS) with 3 to 5 years of experience in the Engineering / Construction industry. The ideal candidate must be a Qualified CS, well-versed in corporate laws, regulatory compliance, board meeting documentation, and ROC filings. Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office are essential.

Travelling Details
Distance from Andheri Station to company location (Kurla Rd, JB Nagar) is 2.6 km, approx. 12 minutes by rickshaw.

Responsibility
1. Report to the chairman and often liaise with board members.
2. Prepare agendas and papers for board meetings, committees, and annual general meetings (AGMs) and follow up on action points.
3. Provide legal, financial, and/or strategic advice during and outside of meetings.
4. Ensure policies, regulatory, or statutory changes that might affect the organization are up to date and approved by the committee.
5. Maintain statutory books, including registers of members, directors, and secretaries.
6. Handle correspondence, collate information, write reports and communicate decisions to relevant company stakeholders.
7. Liaise with external regulators and advisers such as lawyers and auditors.
8. Implement processes or systems to ensure good management of the organization.
9. Develop and oversee the systems that ensure the company complies with all applicable codes, in addition to its legal and statutory requirements.
