Assistant Manager Accounts (Internal Auditor )

Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Internal Auditor with strong expertise in the manufacturing sector and proficiency in SAP software. The ideal candidate, aged between 28 to 42 years, will design, implement, and oversee internal auditing processes, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and internal controls. The role involves periodic audits, MIS reporting, and assisting in accounting and statutory compliances. A Company Bus facility is available for candidates from Thane, Kalyan, Dombivli, Badlapur, and Virar and is Approximately 1 hour travelling distance from all locations tothe company.
For candidates from outside the location, the company will provide full conveyance expenses covered by the company. However, accommodation facilities will not be provided. For candidates applying from outside the location, the first round of the interview will be conducted virtually

Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Internal Control & Process Design:
o Develop and implement internal auditing processes and systems.
o Periodically test internal controls and address deficiencies.
2. Audit Execution:
o Conduct internal audits for all functions as per defined parameters.
o Perform scrutiny of General Ledger, vouchers, and vendor payments on a random basis.
3. MIS Reporting:
o Prepare and present MIS reports highlighting audit findings and deviations.
4. Statutory Compliance Assistance:
o Ensure timely completion of statutory compliances (TDS returns, GST returns, PF, PT, ESIC payments, etc.).
o Assist in quarterly physical stock audits.
5. Procurement & Vendor Management:
o Understand procurement processes and verify purchase prices and quantities received.
o Audit various rate contracts (e.g., transporters, AMC services) and associated bills.
o Conduct vendor audits, including visiting workshops or factories, to assess processes and stock.
6. Expense & Service Verification:
o Verify consultant bills and ensure service receipts align with agreements.
o Perform physical cash verification and cross-check against booked expenses.
7. Stock & Scrap Management:
o Audit outsourcing processes, including analyzing discrepancies in sent and received quantities.
o Manage scrap control and invoicing.
8. Security & Leave Records:
o Verify leave records of staff and perform random cross-checks for security lapses.
