Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant General Manager – Interior to take charge of planning, managing, and delivering high-quality interior projects within budget and deadlines. The role demands strategic leadership, team development, budget management, client coordination, and a strong focus on execution excellence. You will ensure smooth project flow, profitability, and client satisfaction, while driving growth and adhering to the organization’s core values of Quality, Speed, Innovation, Empowerment, and Going the Extra Mile.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Financial Management

Set strategic direction for interior projects aligned with business goals.

Prepare budgets for individual projects ensuring a minimum of 15% profit.

Closely monitor budgets, cost control, and timely project delivery.

Participate in high-level planning, tender submissions, and bidding strategy.
Project Execution & Operations

Build and maintain strong relationships with consultants and clients to ensure seamless project execution.

Plan and fulfill staffing requirements by onboarding suitable talent.

Ensure the availability of qualified sub-contractors at standardized rates.

Capably develop and execute extra/additional project items with client approvals.

Monitor ongoing projects for quality, timeline, cost, and client feedback.

Regularly follow up and ensure timely payment collection from clients.

Create and track internal checkpoints using MIS reports for operational control and transparency.
Team & Leadership

Lead, motivate, and guide project teams to achieve performance goals.

Evaluate team performance, suggest improvements, and foster leadership at all levels.

Ensure proper communication and accountability across departments.

Promote a positive, performance-driven culture with a focus on continuous learning and development.
Client & Vendor Relations

Act as the primary liaison between the company, clients, and consultants.

Represent the company in external forums and maintain positive public relations.

Drive repeat business through excellence in delivery and client servicing.
Ideal Candidate Profile

Qualification: Post Graduate in Civil Engineering or Architecture

Experience: Minimum 7 years at a managerial level, with proven project delivery

In-depth technical knowledge of materials, execution, and market trends

Analytical and strategic thinking

Exposure to finance, procurement, HR, and supply chain functions
