Job Description

1. Develop, test, and implement WPS, PQR, and WPQ for different materials and applications.
2. Provide technical support to customers and internal teams for welding process optimization and troubleshooting.
3. Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to improve welding applications and processes.
4. Conduct weld trials, performance evaluations, and parameter validation.
5. Recommend welding consumables, equipment, and accessories for specific industrial applications.
6. Support customer demonstrations, site visits, and training sessions on welding systems and technologies.
7. Ensure compliance with ASME, AWS, ISO, EN, and API welding standards.
8. Maintain detailed records, technical documentation, and certifications.
9. Work with the sales team to support pre-sales and post-sales technical activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Technology, or Metallurgy (or equivalent).
• 3–8 years of hands-on experience in welding applications and engineering.
• Strong knowledge of SMAW, MIG/MAG, TIG, SAW, FCAW, and robotic welding processes.
• Familiarity with welding standards and codes (ASME, AWS, ISO, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, WPS/PQR documents, and material specifications.
• Experience with metallurgical testing and failure analysis (preferred).
• Strong communication, presentation, and customer training skills.
• Willingness to travel for technical support, audits, and training at customer sites.
