SolidWorks Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities : 

1. Design machine parts, assemblies, and mechanisms using SolidWorks.  
2. Prepare detailed 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D models.  
3. Modify and improve existing machine designs based on production and client requirements.  
4. Maintain proper documentation and drawing records.  
5. Create BOMs (Bill of Materials) and technical specifications.  
6. Coordinate with the production department and external vendors.  
7. Handle CNC, Wire Cut, Laser Cutting, Turning, Milling, Surface Grinding, and Sheet Metal Fabrication follow-ups.  
8. Inspect manufactured components as per drawings and dimensions.  
9. Assist in raw material planning and product cost estimation. 

Required Skills

1. Strong expertise in SolidWorks & AutoCad.  
2. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and machine fabrication.  
3. Understanding of mechanical engineering drawings and GD&T. 

Candidate Profile 

1. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.  
2. Good communication and coordination skills.  
3. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.  
4. Experience in the machine manufacturing industry is preferred.
