Senior Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and monitor quality control processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
2. Conduct analysis of defects, rejections, and customer complaints while driving effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
3. Lead structured problem-solving activities using methodologies like 8D, Root Cause Analysis, and FMEA.
4. Support New Product Development (NPD) by defining inspection plans, quality checkpoints, and validation testing.
5. Prepare and review control plans, process flow diagrams, and work instructions for quality assurance.
6. Coordinate with suppliers for incoming material quality, conduct supplier audits, and ensure vendor compliance.
7. Guide, train, and mentor junior engineers and supervisors in inspection techniques and quality system requirements.
8. Oversee calibration of measuring instruments and maintain documentation as per ISO/IATF standards.
9. Generate, review, and present quality performance metrics to management for continuous improvement initiatives.
