Senior Purchase Executive

Job Summary:
We are hiring for a Senior Purchase Executive job in Vasai. Candidate should have a minimum of 4 years’ experience, gender will be Any & age not more than 40 years, and have Qualification Any Graduate. This vacancy is for the Manufacturing industry. Must have experience in Tally Software & Engineering Company Experience.

Note  -This company manufactures packaging machines and loading–unloading machines, so we need a candidate who has experience in purchasing parts required for these machines.

Job Responsibilities
1.Purchase Planning & Procurement:
o Plan, source, and procure raw materials, mechanical components, consumables, tools, spares, and services as per production and project requirements.

2.Purchase Order Processing:
o Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per company policies and procedures.
o Ensure accuracy and timely approval of POs.

3.Inventory & Coordination:
o Maintain optimal inventory levels in coordination with Stores and Production departments.
o Track material availability and avoid stockouts.

4.Supplier Development:
o Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers for quality materials at competitive prices.
o Build and maintain strong, long-term vendor relationships.

5.Quality & Rejection Handling:
o Collaborate with the QC team to resolve supplier quality issues.
o Prepare monthly rejection records for material quality and corrective actions.

6.Negotiation & Cost Control:
o Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings.
o Implement cost reduction through bulk procurement and alternate materials.

7.Documentation & Reporting:
o Maintain proper documentation for all purchases (POs, quotations, invoices, delivery notes, etc.).
o Prepare regular reports on purchase activities, cost savings, supplier performance, and shortages.

8.Material Indent & Enquiries:
o Identify material requirements as per production needs and send enquiries to suppliers.
o Explore new suppliers and alternative sources to ensure uninterrupted supply.

9.Audit & Compliance:
o Handle annual audits and ensure compliance with company procedures and corrective practices.

10.Software Knowledge:
o Must have hands-on experience with Tally, MS Office, and Advanced Excel for purchase documentation and reporting.

11.Material Knowledge (Essential):
o Candidate must have experience working in any engineering company.
o Should have good knowledge of materials such as MS (Mild Steel), SS (Stainless Steel), nuts, bolts, fasteners, and other industrial components.
