Senior Chartered Accountant (CA)

Job Summary :

We are hiring for a Senior Chartered Accountant (CA) job in Mira Road E. Candidate should have a minimum of 6 years’ experience, gender will be Male & age not more than 40 years, and have Qualification Chartered Accountant (CA). This vacancy is for the Manufacturing industry. Candidate must have  Minimum of 6 years of experience in accounting or finance, with significant experience in a manufacturing environment and strong knowledge of limited company

compliance.

Job Responsibilities : 

1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements and reports in accordance with relevant accounting standards. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, including Companies Act requirements.

 2. Cost Accounting: Oversee and analyze manufacturing costs, including direct materials, labour, and overhead. Develop and maintain cost accounting systems to accurately reflect manufacturing expenses.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor budget performance and provide actionable insights for financial planning.

4. Internal Controls and Audit: Implement and monitor robust internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and integrity. Manage the audit process, coordinate with auditors, and address audit findings.

5. Limited Company Compliance: Ensure adherence to all statutory compliance requirements for limited companies, including Companies Act filings and regulatory reporting. Manage company secretarial duties, including maintaining company registers, filing annual returns, and compliance with corporate governance standards.

6. Financial Planning and Analysis: Provide financial analysis to support strategic business decisions. Conduct profitability analysis and financial modelling for new projects and initiatives.

7. Compliance and Regulation: Oversee tax planning, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and liaise with tax advisors. Stay updated on changes in regulations affecting limited companies and implement necessary changes.

8. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff. Promote a collaborative and efficient team environment.

9. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices. Keep abreast of industry trends to enhance financial management practices.

 Skills:

1. Expertise in financial reporting and cost accounting.

2. Proficiency in accounting software and oracle Net suite.

3. Strong understanding of regulatory compliance for limited companies.

4. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

5. Knowledge of financial regulations and statutory requirements.

 Preferred Attributes:

1. Experience with oracle Net suite

2. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

3. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
