Job Responsibilities :
- System Administration:- Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (development, quality, and production environments), Monitor SAP system performance and ensure high availability
- User & Security Management:- Create, modify, and delete user accounts in SAP
- Ensure compliance with security policies and audit requirements
- Transport Management:- Handle SAP transport requests (STMS)
- Move changes across DEV → QA → PRD environments 4. Backup & Recovery:- Coordinate and monitor SAP system backups, Support disaster recovery activities and testing
- Performance Monitoring:- Monitor system logs, dumps, and alerts
- Support & Troubleshooting:- Provide L2/L3 support for SAP technical issues
- Patch & Upgrade Management:- Apply SAP patches, kernel updates, and support packs
- Documentation:- Maintain system configuration documents, Prepare SOPs and technical reports
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SAP Basis administration
- Experience with SAP system monitoring tools
- Knowledge of OS (Windows/Linux) and databases (Oracle/SQL/DB2/HANA)
- Understanding of SAP ERP architecture
- Transport Management System (STMS), SAP GUI, and SAP Solution Manager
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
