Responsibilities:
1.Quality Systems & Standards
Develop, implement, and maintain ISO, IATF, or other applicable quality management systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, statutory requirements, and customer-specific requirements.
2.Inspection & Testing
Establish procedures for incoming material inspection, in-process checks, and final product testing.
Monitor quality performance and take corrective actions where necessary.
3.Process Control & Improvement
Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Kaizen methodologies.
Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for waste reduction and efficiency improvement.
4.Team Management
Supervise and train quality inspectors, engineers, and support staff.
Provide coaching and support to cross-functional teams on quality requirements.
5.Customer & Supplier Quality
Manage customer complaints, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with suppliers for quality assurance of raw materials and components.
Develop supplier quality audits and performance monitoring systems.
6.Documentation & Reporting
Maintain quality documentation, inspection records, and audit reports.
Prepare monthly/quarterly reports on key quality metrics (defects, rework, scrap, customer complaints).
Key Skills & Competencies
1.Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / other relevant standards
2.Proficiency in quality tools (FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis)
3.Leadership and team management skills
4.Analytical thinking with attention to detail
5.Strong communication and customer handling skills
6.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement practices
