Quality Manager

Job Summary:

We are hiring for a Quality Manager job in Vasai E, Gauraipada. Candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience, gender will be Male & age not more than 42 years, and have Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Industrial). This vacancy is for the Manufacturing industry. Candidate must have experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control in manufacturing

Job Responsibilities :

1. Quality Systems & Standards
2. Develop, implement, and maintain ISO, IATF, or other applicable quality management systems.
3. Ensure compliance with industry standards, statutory requirements, and customer-specific requirements.
4. Inspection & Testing
5. Establish procedures for incoming material inspection, in-process checks, and final product testing.
6. Monitor quality performance and take corrective actions where necessary.
7. Process Control & Improvement
8. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
9. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Kaizen methodologies.
10. Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for waste reduction and efficiency improvement.
11. Team Management
12. Supervise and train quality inspectors, engineers, and support staff.
13. Provide coaching and support to cross-functional teams on quality requirements.
14. Customer & Supplier Quality
15. Manage customer complaints, conduct investigations, and implement corrective actions.
16. Coordinate with suppliers for quality assurance of raw materials and components.
17. Develop supplier quality audits and performance monitoring systems.
18. Documentation & Reporting
19. Maintain quality documentation, inspection records, and audit reports.
20. Prepare monthly/quarterly reports on key quality metrics (defects, rework, scrap, customer complaints).
21. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / other relevant standards
22. Proficiency in quality tools (FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis)
23. Leadership and team management skills
24. Analytical thinking with attention to detail
25. Strong communication and customer handling skills
26. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement practices
