Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Quality Executive with 3 to 8 years of experience in the Manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control processes, conducting inspections, ensuring product compliance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the production line. Travelling Details:
The company is located on Wada, approximately 15 minutes from Manor. The distance from Palghar Station to Manor is about 35 to 40 minutes by road.
Total travel time from Palghar Station to the company is approximately under one hour.
About The Role
The Quality Executive will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and comply with regulatory requirements. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams into the Data Center Industry
Responsibility:
Inspection and Testing:
1.Conduct visual inspections of surfaces before and after powder coating to identify defects such as runs, sags, or uneven coverage.
2.Perform adhesion tests (e.g., cross-hatch test) to assess the bond between the powder coating and the substrate.
3.Measure film thickness to ensure it meets specifications.
4.Conduct impact and bend tests to evaluate the coating’s flexibility and durability.
5.Monitor and test powder coating materials for proper curing and performance.
6.Utilize various testing equipment (e.g., DFT gauges, adhesion testers).
7.Document all test results and findings.
Surface Preparation:
1.Ensure proper surface preparation, including cleaning, degreasing, and applying pretreatment chemicals (e.g., phosphating).
2.Verify that the surface is free from contaminants and suitable for powder coating.
Process Control:
1.Monitor the powder coating application process, including powder feed rate, spray gun settings, and oven temperature.
2.Ensure that the coating is applied evenly and consistently.
3.Identify and troubleshoot any process-related issues that may aAect quality.
Material Management:
1.Check powder coating materials for proper storage, handling, and expiration dates.
2.Ensure that the correct powder coating colour and type are used for each application.
Documentation and Reporting:
1.Maintain detailed records of all quality control activities.
2.Reporting any non-conformances or deviations from quality standards.
3.Collaborating with production and engineering teams to address quality issues.
Continuous Improvement:
1.Contributing to the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
2.Identifying areas for process improvement to enhance powder coating quality and eAiciency.
3.Staying up to date on industry best practices and new technologies
