Quality Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Quality Engineer to oversee product quality, process stability, and laboratory operations. The candidate must have hands-on experience in SS (Stainless Steel) equipment and be fluent in English to communicate effectively with internal teams and clients.He/She will be responsible for ensuring product consistency, process reliability, and compliance with quality standards. The role also involves supporting new product development, resolving customer complaints, and implementing continuous improvement in manufacturing and testing processes.

Job Responsibility:
1.Inspect and approve incoming, in-process, and finished products as per quality parameters and specifications. 
2.Conduct detailed quality checks for stainless steel utensils, kitchenware, cookware, HORECA items, and retail consumer products. 
3.Check product dimensions, finish, polishing quality, welding, joint strength, material grade, packaging quality, and labeling accuracy. 
4.Identify visual and technical defects such as dents, scratches, bends, color shade difference, improper finishing, rust marks, poor welding, wrong printing, etc.
5.Recommend corrective actions and follow-up with production teams or suppliers for rectification and rework.
6.Maintain quality inspection reports, rejection reports, sample approvals, and product testing records.
7.Ensure compliance with export quality standards and customer specifications. 
8.Handle and coordinate with third-party inspection agencies (like SGS, Intertek, Bureau Veritas, TUV, etc.). 
9.Support internal and external audits—BSCI, ISO, SEDEX, customer audits, factory social and technical audits. 
10.Supervise packaging quality to meet export shipment requirements.
11.Ensure correct sampling, approval process, and sign-off before dispatch. 
12.Monitor improvement plans and contribute to process development.
