Quality Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : 

1. For working under the scope of QMS.
2. For incoming, in-process, pre-dispatch inspection including thread inspection, testing witnessing as per applicable sampling plan with reference to quality assurance plan, standard and relevant procedure. Should have hands-on experience with product inspection in machine shop & handling measuring instruments like vernier , micrometer, bore gauge, height gauge,  hardness testing equipment, etc.
3. For indexing, labelling, filing, proper storage, protection and maintenance of relevant documents and ensuring that the documents are legible. 
4. For ensuring inspection and testing at all stages and locations and in accordance with the specifications/standards and update all records on ERP system.
5. Responsible for sending Purchase requisition to Purchase Manager for any Purchase activities.
6. Responsible for the identification of sources of existing and potential non-conformances.
7. Responsible for reporting all potential problems or non-conformities to their immediate supervisor. Identify the material with a rejected tag and segregate the nonconforming product and safely store it in the NCR area.
8. For timely informing the Quality Manager for calibration of instruments.
9. For work environment. For supporting other departments for smooth workflow, and measure & continually improve the performance of QMS.
10. For complying with all the applicable requirements of API product standards.
11. For implementation of corrections and corrective actions taken for detected nonconformities during internal or external audit.
12. For continual improvement. For providing data for analysis. 

 Required Skills: 

1. Excellent analytical and computer skills, specifically in Ms Office 
2. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
3. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 / API Spec Q1
