Quality Engineer

Job Summary 

We are hiring a QA QC Engineer for a well-established company specializing in the manufacturing of pharma process equipment. The ideal candidate should be a qualified Mechanical Engineer with a strong understanding of quality assurance and control processes in a ss (stainless steel ) products manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Executes specific inspections on materials, equipment, and installation activities at the project site.
2. Issues Quality Records and, when required, prepares and sends Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) to the QC Supervisor.
3. Monitors and controls equipment installation and alignment based on approved drawings.
4. Performs functional and mechanical completion checks, including for pressure and atmospheric vessels.
5. Conducts vessel inspections including dimensional checks and water tightness testing.
6. Verifies levelness, orientation, and position of tank foundations including anchor bolts and conduits.
7. Carries out hydro-testing of tanks and monitors pad settlement measurements.
8. Performs internal inspections of vessels.
9. Carries out punch-listing operations and ensures resolution of open points.
10. Verifies special processes and ensures workers involved are properly qualified.
11. Witnesses tests, controls, and inspections in accordance with the Inspection Test Plan.
12. Guarantees inspection status control for relevant plant sections, authorizes quality control completion, and ensures documentation is correctly compiled.
13. Ensures that all inspections and tests are conducted as per client requirements and specifications.
14. Carries out punch-listing operations and ensures resolution of open points.
15. Verifies special processes and ensures workers involved are properly qualified.
16. Witnesses tests, controls, and inspections in accordance with the Inspection Test Plan.
17. Guarantees inspection status control for relevant plant sections, authorizes quality control completion, and ensures documentation is correctly compiled.
18. Ensures that all inspections and tests are conducted as per client requirements and specifications.
