QC Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior QC Manager with strong knowledge of fabrication and machine shop quality control processes. Responsible for overall quality assurance, inspection, documentation, and compliance with ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and lead entire QC department for fabrication and machine shop
2. In-process and final inspection of fabricated components, welded jobs & machined parts
3. Ensure dimensional accuracy as per drawings & customer specs
4. Prepare & maintain QC documentation - Inspection reports, NCR, CAPA, MTC, WPS/PQR, etc.
5. Implement and monitor ISO 9001:2015 QMS and ensure audit compliance
6. Handle PD Certification, Third Party Inspection (TPI) and customer inspections
7. Knowledge of welding quality, NDT methods (DPT, MPT, UT, RT) advantage
8. Control of measuring instruments - Calibration management
9. Train and guide QC inspectors and shop floor team
10. Coordinate with Production, Design, Purchase for quality improvements
11. Root cause analysis & corrective actions

Required Skills:

1. Strong knowledge of Fabrication, Welding Symbols, Machine Shop Operations
2. Proficient in reading Engineering Drawings and GD&T
3. Hands-on with Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge etc.
4. In-depth knowledge of ISO Documentation, QMS, Quality Procedures
5. Knowledge of PD Certification & Product Documentation
6. Leadership and communication skills

 Preferred: Candidate from Fabrication / Heavy Engineering background, stable career, ready to join immediately.
