QC Engineer

Job Summary:
We are hiring for a QC Engineer job in Agarwal Udyog Nagar, Sativali Road, Vasai E. Candidate should have a minimum of 3 & Above years’ experience, gender will be Male & age not more than 35 years, and have Qualification DME. This vacancy is for the Engineering / Construction industry.

Job Responsibilities:

1.Incoming Quality Inspection (Subcontractor Parts)

1. Inspect all incoming parts received from subcontractors as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality plans.
2. Verify dimensions, tolerances, surface finish, and visual quality using standard QC instruments.
3. Ensure inspection is carried out strictly as per ERP-defined processes and checklists.
4. Identify non-conforming parts, raise rejections, and coordinate with the concerned team for corrective action.
5. Maintain proper traceability of inspected parts through ERP entries and physical identification.

2.In-Process & Final Inspection (Internal Products)

1. Inspect internally manufactured components and assemblies as per SOPs and control plans.
2. Perform stage-wise inspections where required to prevent quality issues at later stages.
3. Approve products for next-stage processing or dispatch after meeting quality requirements.

3.Measurement & Instrument Handling

1. Use and maintain quality inspection tools such as:
2. Vernier Calipers
3. Micrometers (inside, outside, depth)
4. Height Gauge
5. Dial Indicators
6. Go/No-Go Gauges and other QC instruments
7. Ensure all measurements are accurate, repeatable, and recorded correctly.

4.Documentation & ERP Data Entry

1. Log inspection results, measurements, and status (Accepted / Rejected / Rework) into the ERP system.
2. Maintain inspection records, reports, and quality logs as per company procedures.
3. Support audits by ensuring all quality data is accurate, complete, and retrievable.

5.Process & Continuous Improvement

1. Follow company quality processes, SOPs, and work instructions strictly.
2. Highlight recurring quality issues from subcontractors or internal processes.
3. Assist in improving inspection methods and quality control processes.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerances
• Hands-on experience with measuring and QC instruments
• Basic knowledge of machining processes
• Familiarity with ERP systems for quality data entry
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to identify defects and deviations clearly
• Good communication and coordination skills
