Job Summary:
We are hiring for a Purchase Officer job in Vasai East Golani Naka. Candidate should have a minimum of 2 & Above years’ experience, gender will be Male / Female & age not more than 35 years, and have Qualification B.COM This vacancy is for the Manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Procure raw materials such as copper, aluminium, brass, MS/CRCA & GI sheets, consumables, and packaging materials.
2.Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors to ensure quality, cost competitiveness, and timely delivery.
3.Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved material requisitions.
4.Coordinate with production, planning, and stores teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
5.Track material delivery schedules and follow up with vendors to avoid delays.
6.Verify supplier invoices with PO and GRN before submission to accounts.
7.Maintain proper purchase documentation including POs, GRNs, test certificates, and vendor records.
8.Support cost control initiatives and assist in price comparison and negotiation activities.
9.Monitor inventory levels and assist in maintaining minimum and reorder stock quantities.
10.Handle job-work and service procurement such as plating, heat treatment, tooling, and transportation.
11.Ensure procurement activities comply with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 requirements.
