Project Engineer AV – LED Display AV Solutions

JOB SUMMARY : 

The AV Engineer / Project Engineer is responsible for the planning, coordination, Site Visits, of LED video walls, Audio-Visual systems, digital displays, and related AV infrastructure. The role involves coordinating with Sales Team, Project Team, site supervisors, Clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects are to be completed safely, on time, and as per approved technical specifications and quality standards.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES : 

A. Project Planning & Coordination.

1. Review project scope With Sales Team, technical drawings, BOQ, layouts, and installation requirements before project Orders & execution
2. Coordinate with the Sales Team, Project Team, client, consultant, civil team, electrical team, and other contractors for Site readiness.
3. Check site readiness before mobilizing teams.
4. Identify project dependencies, technical challenges, and potential delays, and report them to the reporting managers.
5. Ensure timely communication regarding site readiness and project progress.
6. Supervise and execute Site of indoor and outdoor LED displays, video walls, and digital signage systems.
7. Coordinate With Sales Team and Client for installation of mounting structures, fabricated frames, racks, and display support systems.
8. Coordinate & Identification of power cabling routing, Cat6/network cabling, data connections, PDU installation, and rack-related works.
9. Follow approved drawings, manufacturer guidelines, and site-specific installation procedures.
10. Prepare Site visits reports, commissioning reports, checklists, and site documentation.
11. Follow company quality standards and project-specific requirements.
12. Maintain photographic records of site visits, completed work, and technical observations.

B. Client Coordination & Communication

1. Coordinate with clients and site representatives as per work schedules.
2. Provide regular updates on project progress, site requirements, technical issues, and completion status.
3. Attend site meetings and technical discussions as required for Site readiness .
4. Obtain client confirmation and sign-off as per Per-Order Site visits .

Key Deliverables

1. Project Site Visit : as per the approved schedule and Site Visit reports.
2. Site readiness : Prerequisites verified before mobilization. 
3. Safety compliance : Compliance with site and company safety requirements.
4. Client coordination : Timely updates, approvals, and site issue resolution.
5. Documentation : Complete Site visit reports.
6. Site support : Timely site Support and closure of Site technical issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications Educational qualification

1. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, or a related technical field.

Technical skills

1. Knowledge of LED display systems, video walls, and AV integration.
2. Basic knowledge of Civils, Under Contraction sites
3. Basic knowledge of electrical power distribution, earthing, networking, Cat6 cabling, and signal transmission.
4. Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation layouts.
5. Client communication and problem-solving skills.
6. Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, email communication, and project reporting.

Experience Requirements

1. Project Engineer AV : Typically 2–5 years of experience in project execution, site coordination, installation supervision, and commissioning. Experience requirements can be adjusted according to the project's complexity and the candidate's technical skills.

Reporting Structure

Reports to: Sales Managers / Head of Projects.

Coordinates with: Client Representatives, Site Contactors , Technical Support, Vendors .
