Production Supervisor

Job Responsibilities : 

1. Production Management

 • Supervise and monitor day-to-day production activities.

 • Plan and allocate manpower, machines, and materials effectively.

 • Ensure adherence to production schedules and timely delivery.

 • Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve process issues.

 • Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, Lean practices).

 2. Quality & Compliance

 • Ensure products meet defined quality standards.

 • Conduct in-process inspections and enforce corrective actions.

 • Maintain compliance with ISO/IMS and other audit requirements.

 • Document production records, deviations, and corrective measures.

 3. Team Leadership

 • Train, guide, and motivate shop-floor operators.

 • Monitor performance and provide feedback for improvement.

 • Promote safety awareness and enforce workplace discipline.

 • Encourage teamwork and accountability across shifts.

 4. Documentation & Reporting

 • Maintain accurate production logs, shift reports, and MIS.

 • Track material usage, wastage, and efficiency metrics.

 • Prepare audit-ready documentation for management review.

 • Escalate supplier/material issues promptly with proper records.

 5. Skills & Competencies

 • Strong knowledge of production processes and shop-floor management.

 • Understanding of quality systems, safety standards, and compliance.

 • Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/Tally, and documentation practices. (Tally software training will be provided by the company.)

 • Leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

 • Ability to manage cross-functional coordination under pressure.
