Production Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY

We are hiring for a Production Supervisor job in Vasai E, Bilalpada. Candidate should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience, gender will be Male & age not more than 28 years, and have Qualification B.Sc./ B. Pharma/ B. Tech. This vacancy is for the Manufacturing industry.  

Job Responsibility

1. Organize workflow and ensure operators and helpers clearly understand their duties and delegated tasks.
2. Execute and achieve the production plan as assigned, set daily, weekly, and monthly objectives, and supervise operations using checklists to ensure smooth functioning.
3. Monitor productivity, evaluate each stage of the manufacturing process for efficiency and quality, identify improvement areas, and suggest corrective actions.
4. Check production output against specifications, ensure QC passed batches are released for production, and maintain in-process status labeling at every production stage.
5. Issue and submit production-related documents including BMR, deviations, SOPs, QSPs, and formats to respective departments.
6. Ensure safe use of equipment, schedule regular maintenance, verify calibration and qualification status of machines, and coordinate with the maintenance team.
7. Maintain timekeeping and personnel records, prepare and submit performance reports, and communicate information between management and shop-floor teams.
8. Handle complaints, resolve operational issues, enforce company policies and legal compliance, and take disciplinary actions when required.
9. Participate in hiring, training, and coaching new operators and helpers, ensure safe machinery handling practices, and decide on rewards or promotions based on performance.
10. Ensure effective utilization of all resources and assets and maintain understanding and compliance with ISO 13485:2016 requirements.
