Job Summary:
We are hiring a Production Engineer in Vasai East with 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical production or companies supplying to pharma clients. Candidates with exposure to pharma manufacturing processes, documentation, and quality standards will be preferred.The selected candidate will lead a production team of 200+ workers with the support of 5 production engineers, ensuring smooth operations, process control, and compliance. Responsibilities include monitoring daily production, improving efficiency, and coordinating with QA/QC teams.
Key Responsibilities
1.Manage day-to-day operations of the aluminium collapsible tube production line, ensuring high efficiency, consistent output, and workplace safety.
2.Lead and supervise production teams including operators, technicians, and support staff, promoting accountability and teamwork.
3.Plan and control production schedules to meet daily/monthly targets and optimize resource utilization.
4.Implement and maintain stringent quality control protocols across all manufacturing stages – extrusion, trimming, annealing, coating, printing, and capping.
5.Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations according to organizational policies and legal standards.
6.Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production-related issues to minimize downtime and ensure consistent product quality.
7.Analyze production performance data and generate periodic reports covering output, downtime, rejections, and quality metrics.
8.Drive process improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and elevate product quality.
9.Collaborate closely with Maintenance, Quality, Warehouse, and other departments to support uninterrupted production flow.
10.Conduct regular training, coaching, and mentoring sessions for the production workforce to ensure SOP compliance and skill development.
