Job Summary:
We are hiring for a Production Engineer job in Nalasopara Highway Pelhar. Candidate should have a minimum of 1 & Above years’ experience, gender will be Male & age not more than 28 years, and have Qualification Diploma / BE Mechanical. This vacancy is for the Fabrication industry. Preferred candidates are those staying.
Job Responsibilities:
1.Assist in managing daily production activities in the fabrication shop
2.Support and monitor fabrication processes such as cutting, bending, welding, grinding, and finishing
3.Ensure production is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and quality standards
4.Coordinate with shop floor manpower (welders, fitters, helpers) to achieve daily production targets
5.Prepare and update daily production reports
6.Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and support dispatch planning
7.Coordinate with store and purchase teams for raw material availability
8.Support production planning and scheduling as guided by the Production Manager / Factory Manager
9.Ensure safety norms and housekeeping are followed on the shop floor
10.Assist in quality checks and corrective actions, if required
11.Reduce material wastage and improve productivity
12.Coordinate with maintenance team for machine breakdowns or issues
