Plant Head

Job Summary:
We are hiring for a Plant Head job in Pune Bhosari. Candidate should have a minimum of 12 years’ experience, gender will be Male & age not more than 50 years, and have Qualification Diploma / BE Mechanical. This vacancy is for the Manufacturing industry. The role requires a leader who can manage a 100-member team and ensure smooth coordination between production. Pune location Candidate will be prefereble & Must have experience in Sheet Metal Industries. Salary is negotiable for the right candidate, and a good hike will be offered on the current CTC

Key Responsibilities:
1. Overall management of the plant’s daily operations.
2. Production planning and execution to meet delivery schedules.
3. Manage punching, bending, laser cutting, CNC machines, fabrication, and powder-coating sections.
4. Ensure maximum machine utilization, minimum downtime, and cost-effective operations.
5. Maintain ISO 9001:2008 quality standards and implement continuous improvements.
6. Monitor quality at every stage (raw material to finished product).
7. Coordinate with design, purchase, stores, and dispatch for smooth workflow.
8. Lead, train, and monitor a team of 100 employees across multiple departments.
9. Implement safety standards and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
10. Daily reporting of production, rejections, delays, and machine performance.
11. Resolve technical problems related to sheet metal processes and machines (Laser, Punch, CNC, Press Brake).
12. Vendor coordination for materials, consumables, and machine maintenance.
13. Maintain discipline, reduce absenteeism, and improve workforce efficiency.
14. Reduce rework, improve the first-pass quality, and control production costs.
15. Ensure on-time delivery to customers in Elevator/Engineering industry.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Minimum 12 years of experience in Sheet Metal / Elevator / Precision Fabrication industry.
2. Strong knowledge of sheet metal processes: Laser cutting, Punching, Bending, Welding, Powder Coating.
3. Should have managed minimum 80–100 workers.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities.
5. Knowledge of ISO quality systems and documentation.
6. Ability to handle pressure, customer requirements, and strict timelines.
7. Diploma/BE in Mechanical or Production Engineering preferred.
