JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Review customer drawings, specifications and technical requirements.
2. Coordinate product feasibility, tooling development and process planning.
3. Conduct trials for rubber moulded, rubber-to-metal bonded, extruded and hose pipe components, as applicable.
4. Coordinate with tooling, Production, Quality, Purchase and customers.
5. Develop process parameters and support cycle-time and cost optimisation.
6. Prepare and maintain APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans and other development documents, as applicable.
7. Track development timelines, sample submissions and customer approvals.
8. Resolve technical issues during trials and ensure smooth transfer to mass production.
9. Candidates must have experience in either the rubber or metal industry. Knowledge of both AutoCAD and SolidWorks is mandatory.
