Mechanical Draftsman - F&B Process

Job Summary:-

We are looking for a dedicated & accurate mechanical draftsman with an interest in

mechanical engineering. You need to be self-motivated with a positive attitude. You would be working with our expert engineering teams to create a variety of technical drawings and will be able to contribute to the design process as well. We foster a positive and encouraging work atmosphere and offer plenty of opportunities for on job training and practical experience with several departments including manufacturing and projects. To be a successful team member, you should have the ability to work with multiple discipline projects and demonstrate excellent drafting skills. You should also have excellent organizational, time management skills.

Responsibilities and duties: -

1. Preparing/Creating technical drawings, manufacturing schematics and 2D and 3D digital
2. models of mechanical equipment designs, using measurements, specifications and
3. additional data from the engineering teams.
4. Collect initial drawings, calculations and combine all relevant data into coherent and
5. complete initial design models for review and modification.
6. If required, co-ordinate with engineers and the sales team, to understand the project
7. requirements, verify design details and recommend modifications as needed, according to
8. company standards and best manufacturing practices.
9. Verify all numerical designations and specifications in technical drawings and schematics,
10. using both CAD programs and manual calculations when necessary.
11. Communicate with production team to create detailed layouts prior to production and assist
12. in designing, creating and testing production models.
13. Provide support to engineering team as and when needed for creating technical drawings
14. and digital models, within time assigned timeframe, utilizing multiple methods to ensure the
15. deliverables include all relevant design details.
16. Assist in ongoing projects to standardize and unify design document standards by
17. participating in meetings and preparing presentation material as necessary.

Required qualifications and skills:-

1. Associate degree/diploma/professional certificate in mechanical drafting.
2. Proficient with AutoCAD Mechanical 3D and Solid works
3. Excellent technical communication skills with engineers and manufacturing personnel.
4. Strong attention to detail and mathematical abilities.
5. Able to work within strict Timeframes.

Preferred: -

1. Professional Experience with pharma and/or Food & Beverage machinery manufacturing Industry.
