Export Import Manager

 Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Import Export Logistics Executive to oversee and manage all import/export logistics operations for our packaging company.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Manage the full cycle of import and export logistics, ensuring timely and cost-effective shipment of goods.
2.Plan and coordinate logistics and shipments, including the preparation of all pre-shipment and post-shipment documentation.
3.Effectively negotiate rates and terms with freight forwarders and clearing agents to optimize shipping costs.
4.Handle documentation and applications related to Advance License, EPCG, DFIA, DEPB, and other relevant export schemes.
5.Ensure smooth import clearance under Duty-Free Licenses, adhering to all applicable customs regulations.
6.Utilize ERP systems for logistics data entry, reporting, and tracking inventory and shipments.
7.Collaborate with internal departments and external agencies to streamline logistics workflows and compliance.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
1.Minimum 3 years of experience in import/export and logistics, preferably in the packaging or manufacturing industry.
2.Proficient in handling export-import documentation and licensing procedures
3.Strong negotiation skills with freight forwarders and customs agents
4.Working knowledge of ERP systems for logistics and documentation.
5.Familiarity with DGFT schemes like EPCG, DFIA, DEPB, and Advance License.
6.Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
7.Knowledge of customs clearance processes and duty-free license compliance.
