Job Summary:
We are hiring an experienced Design Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in retail furniture and fixture design. The ideal candidate should be proficient in SolidWorks and must have experience in either metal or wooden retail fixture manufacturing. Preference will be given to candidates who have worked in both metal and wooden furniture design.
Responsibilities:
1.Design and develop custom retail furniture and fixtures (metal/wooden) based on client specifications.
2.Prepare detailed 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings using SolidWorks.
3.Collaborate with production and marketing teams to understand design feasibility and aesthetics.
4.Work on material selection, joinery techniques, and cost-effective design solutions.
5.Modify designs as per feedback and ensure accuracy in every project stage.
6.Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in design.
7.Maintain proper documentation and design library for all projects.
8.Strong knowledge of Sheet metal fabrication processes
9.Should have experience in metal or wooden furniture fabrication (preferably both).
