Job Details
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control valves, actuators, trims, and related components.
- Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, GA drawings, manufacturing drawings, and BOMs using AutoCAD / SolidWorks.
- Perform valve sizing, pressure rating, wall thickness, flow, and other engineering calculations.
- Review customer specifications, datasheets, P&IDs, and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, Sales, and Service teams.
- Handle design improvements, engineering changes, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
- Maintain engineering documents and drawing revision control.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Control Valve Design and Valve Components.
- Experience with Globe, Ball, Butterfly, Rotary, or Severe Service Control Valves is preferred.
- Knowledge of valve sizing, actuators, materials, pressure ratings, and engineering standards.
- Good understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
Preferred Candidate
- Candidates with 2–5 years of relevant experience in Valve Manufacturing / Control Valve Industry preferred.
- Knowledge of SS, CS, Alloy Steel, Duplex, etc. will be an advantage.
- Experience with valve sizing software or selection tools will be an added advantage.
