Job Summary:
We are hiring for a Design Engineer job in Andheri East Marol Naka. Candidate should have a minimum of 2 & Above years’ experience, gender will be Male & age not more than 40 years, and have Qualification BE/BTech/AMIE Mechanical Engineering degree. This vacancy is for the Manufacturing industry.
Responsibility:
1.Design hydraulic cylinders and other machined components, using first principles of Physics, mechanics, applied engineering and design data to ensure quality and manufacturability requirements.
2.Develop & Draft Part Drawings and Assembly drawings for various products and parts.
3.Identify and recommend improvements to designs then take appropriate action to implement.
4.Collaborate with other departments such as Sales, Product Management, and Production to meet company goals for quality, customer service, safety, and cost.
5.Provide Production, Purchasing, Production Engineering, and Planning with information and specifications required to purchase/ produce products.
6.Guide Draftsman, Junior design engineers
Skills and Attributes Required:
1. Outstanding problem-solving skills.
2. Proven ability to quickly understand customer requirements, formulate, evaluate and execute the most effective solution.
3. Basic knowledge of fabrication/surface finishing/ manufacturing processes.
4. Proficient with solid modeling applications, ideally SolidWorks/ Creo and drafting in CAD
5. Knowledge of geometric and dimensioning tolerancing.
