Cost Engineer

Job Summary : 

We are hiring for a Cost Engineer job in Vasai East Waliv. Candidate should have a minimum of 3 & Above years’ experience, gender will be Male & age not more than 35 years, and have Qualification BE - Mechanical Engineer. This vacancy is for the Manufacturing industry. 

Job Responsibilities : 

1. BOM Preparation (Bill of Materials) :

• Prepare accurate and detailed BOM from engineering drawings.
• Identify raw materials, components, fasteners, and bought-out items.
• Ensure correct specifications such as material grade, size, thickness, and quantity.
• Coordinate with design and production teams for clarification, if required.

2. CAD Drawing Review & Audit :

• Review 2D/3D CAD drawings for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify dimensions, tolerances, welding details, and assembly feasibility.
• Check for design errors, missing details, or inconsistencies.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards and company guidelines.

3. Technical Coordination :

• Communicate with design, production, and procurement teams.
• Resolve discrepancies between drawings and BOM.
• Support estimation and costing team with correct data.

4. Documentation & Reporting :

• Maintain proper records of BOMs and drawing revisions.
• Track changes and update documents accordingly.
• Prepare reports for audit findings and corrections.

5. Quality & Compliance :

• Ensure all drawings and BOMs meet quality standards.
• Follow ISO / client-specific requirements where applicable.
