Job Summary 
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to drive sales growth directly and through a sales team in North India. The candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities both within the country and internationally. This includes building strong client relationships across sectors and strategically positioning the company's engineering solutions to meet client needs while ensuring compliance with export regulations and navigating international market dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis:
1.Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential clients, racking industry trends, and competitor analysis within both domestic and international markets. 
2.Analyze market data to identify opportunities for new product development or service offerings to cater to specific market needs.

Lead Generation and Client Acquisition:
1.Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to generate leads and convert them into paying customers in both domestic and export markets. 
2.Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within potential clients through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events. 
3.Prepare and present compelling proposals to showcase the company's engineering capabilities and value proposition.

Sales Management and Negotiation:
1.Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure, ensuring profitable deals. 
2.Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with clients while considering export regulations and international trade practices.

Export Compliance:
1.Understand and comply with all export regulations, including customs procedures, trade documentation, and international trade laws. 
2.Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure proper export documentation and compliance for all international sales.

Customer Relationship Management:
1.Build strong long-term relationships with clients by providing excellent customer service and proactively addressing their needs. 
2.Regularly engage with clients to identify potential upselling and cross-selling opportunities.

Business Development Strategy:
1.Develop and execute a strategic business development plan aligned with the company's overall goals for both domestic and export markets. 
2.Identify potential partnerships and collaborations to expand market reach and product offerings.

Internal Collaboration:
1.Collaborate closely with engineering teams to understand technical capabilities and develop customized solutions for clients. 
2.Work with marketing and sales support teams to create effective marketing materials and sales presentations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
2.Proven track record of success in sales and business development, preferably within the engineering industry.
3.Strong understanding of international trade practices and export compliance.
4.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
5.Proficiency in market research and analysis
6.Ability to travel domestically and internationally to meet with clients and attend industry events.
7.Fluency in  Oral & written English.
